ปางช้างราน-ตอง มีจุดมุ่งหมายในการดูแลช้างรักษาช้าง ให้ช้างมีชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีขึ้น โดยมุ่งเน้นการให้ความรู้ในการดูแลและการอยู่ร่วมกับช้างให้แก่นักท่องเที่ยวผู้มาเข้าชม และจะมีกิจกรรมต่างๆมากมายที่นักท่องเที่ยวสามารถเข้าร่วม เช่น การให้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับประวัติช้างโดยวิทยากรผู้มีประสบการณ์ การป้อนอาหารช้าง ทำวิตามินแชะอาหารให้ช้าง การอาบน้ำให้ช้างและเล่นโคลนกับช้างเป็นต้น

Ran-Tong Save & Rescue Elephant Centre is devoted to rescuing abused elephants from all over Thailand and surrounding countries. Every elephant rescued is brought to the Chiang Mai elephant camp and cared for with great passion and enthusiasm. THE SOLE PURPOSE of the Ran-Tong Save & Rescue Elephant Centre is to promote the well being of rescued elephants and provide a sustainable habitat for the elephants to live in a safe and natural environment, free from profiteering and neglect, where they are free to play, swim, forage, explore and communicate with the other elephants in their natural surroundings. Our mission is not only geared towards protection and prevention of abused Elephants in Thailand but also to educate the public of their long history within Thai culture. Founded in 2009, RanTong Save & Rescue Elephant Centre have rescued over 40 elephants to date with the help of public generosity, support and private donation they can continue their ongoing vital work.
