บ่อน้ำร้อนฝาง เป็นบ่อน้ำร้อนธรรมชาติ เกิดจากความร้อนใต้พิภพ มีไอร้อนคุกรุ่นอยู่ตลอดเวลา อุณหภูมิของน้ำประมาณ 50-87 ํC มีจำนวนมากมายหลายบ่อ ในพื้นที่ประมาณ 10 ไร่ (บ่อใหญ่มีไอน้ำร้อนพุ่งขึ้นสูงถึง 30-40 เมตร) ตั้งอยู่ในบริเวณเดียวกันกับที่ทำการอุทยานแห่งชาติดอยผ้าห่มปก ดอยผ้าห่มปก เป็นดอยที่สูงอันดับ 2 ของประเทศไทย ด้วยความสูงประมาณ 2,285 เมตร จากระดับน้ำทะเลปานกลางบนยอดดอยสูงสุดเป็นทุ่งโล่ง อันเกิดจากสภาพธรณีที่มีชั้นดินตื้น ชั้นหินเป็นหินแกรนิต ประกอบกับมีลมกรรโชคแรงตลอดทั้งปี จากยอดดอยจะเห็นทิวทัศน์ที่สวยงาม เช่น ทะเลหมอก และถนนบนสันเขาขนานกับชายแดนไทย-พม่า ซึ่งถือเป็นถนนที่สร้างขึ้นเพื่อความมั่นคงระหว่างประเทศ ส่วนสภาพป่าเป็นป่าดิบเขา ซึ่งมีสภาพแวดล้อมทางธรรมชาติที่สมดุลและหลากหลายทางชีวภาพ ดังเช่นจะพบพันธุ์พืชและสัตว์ป่าหายากนานาชนิด อาทิ บัวทอง ผีเสื้อไกเซอร์อิมพีเรียล นกขัติยา และนกติ๊ดหัวแดง เป็นต้น

Fang Hot Spring. It is a natural hot spring, produced by underground heat, which emits water with a temperature of about 50-87 degrees Celsius. Several hot springs can be found within an area of 10 rai (1.6 hectare) of the Park's Headquarters Doi Pha Hom Pok Doi Pha Hom Pok, the second highest mountain in Thailand, is about 2,285 meters high. The summit is an open area covered with grassland. At the top of Doi Pha Hom Pok to the east, you see the exceptionally beautiful scenery of sunrise and the sea of white mist in the morning and to the west you see the long mountain range on the border between Thailand and Myanmar. Hill evergreen forests occupy most of the national park where several streams originate. Trees are covered with mosses, ferns and different kinds of lichen. Visitors like to go up there to enjoy nature and to take pictures of mist, plants and wild flowers. Sometimes they are patiently waiting for a glimpse of a nearly extinct butterfly, the Kaiser-i-Hind, or a rare species of bird.
