เทศบาลเมืองฉะเชิงเทราจัดตั้งศูนย์การเรียนรู้เมืองฉะเชิงเทรา หรือ Knowledge Center of Chachoengsao (KCC) ขึ้นเพื่อเป็นแหล่งเรียนรู้รูปแบบใหม่ ประกอบด้วยอาคารที่เป็นอารยสถาปัตย์ มีสื่อการเรียนรู้ที่หลากหลายและทันสมัย กำหนดเป้าหมายในการสร้างสังคมแห่งการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิต ผ่านกิจกรรม 4 ด้าน ได้แก่ 1. กิจกรรมส่งเสริมการอ่านการเรียนรู้ 2. กิจกรรมส่งเสริมศิลปวัฒนธรรม 3. กิจกรรมส่งเสริมทักษะชีวิต 4. กิจกรรมส่งเสริมทักษะด้านเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ เพื่อให้ประชาชนทุกช่วงวัยมีโอกาสในการพัฒนาศักยภาพ ทักษะ ความรู้ ความคิด ให้สามารถรับมือกับสถานการณ์ของโลกและสังคมที่มีความเป็นพลวัตสูงในปัจจุบันได้อย่างมีคุณภาพ จากแนวความคิด “การพัฒนาคุณภาพของคน ต้องเน้นเรื่องการศึกษาเรียนรู้เป็นสำคัญ” เพื่อส่งเสริมให้ประชาชนทุกคนได้มีโอกาสแสวงหาและพัฒนาความรู้ ความสามารถ เพื่อต่อยอดความคิดสร้างสรรค์และเติมเต็มสติปัญญา เกิดแรงบันดาลใจในการพัฒนาตนเองเพื่อเป็น พลเมืองโลก (Global Citizen) ที่สมบูรณ์

There are various and modern learning materials. Set goals to create a lifelong learning society through 4 activities. 1. Activities to promote reading and learning 2. Activities to promote arts and culture 3. Activities to promote life skills 4. Activities to promote skills in information technology. To provide people of all ages with the opportunity to develop their potential, skills, knowledge, and ideas to be able to cope with the current situation of the world and the highly dynamic society with quality. From the concept "Developing the quality of people must focus on education and learning is important” to encourage all people to have the opportunity to seek and develop knowledge and abilities in order to develop creativity and fulfill their intelligence Get inspired to develop yourself to become a complete global citizen.
