ปราสาทบ้านพลวง เป็นปราสาทขนาดเล็ก ๑ องค์ ก่อสร้างด้วยหินทรายสีขาวบนฐานศิลาแลงรูปสี่เหลี่ยมผืนผ้ากว้างประมาณ ๘ เมตร ยาวประมาณ ๒๓ เมตร ปราสาทมีแผนผังเป็นรูปสี่เหลี่ยมผืนผ้า มีประตูทางเข้าออกด้านทิศตะวันออก ส่วนอีก ๓ ด้านทำเป็นประตูหลอก ทับหลังด้านทิศตะวันออกและทิศใต้สลักเป็นภาพพระอินทร์ทรงช้างเอราวัณ ทับหลังด้านทิศเหนือเป็นภาพพระกฤษณะปราบนาคกาลิยะ ส่วนทับหลังด้านทิศตะวันตกไม่ได้สลักภาพ หน้าบันด้านทิศตะวันออกสลักเป็นภาพพระกฤษณะยกเขาโควรรธนะ หน้าบันทิศเหนือสลักภาพพระอินทร์ทรงช้างเอราวัณ และหน้าบันด้านทิศใต้สลักเป็นภาพบุคคลประทับนั่งเหนือหน้ากาล บริเวณรอบปราสาทมีสระน้ำล้อมรอบเว้นทางเข้าด้านหน้า

Prasat Ban Phluang is located at Ban Phluang, Ban Phluang Sub-district, Prasat District, Surin Province. It is a small religious place facing east, created according to the Baphuon art style, and made of white sandstone on a laterite base. It is surrounded by a U-shaped ditch. The Castle has a squared plan with dimensions of 4 x 4 meters, and laterite base has a rectangular plan with dimensions of about 8 x 23 meters. It is assumed that with this large laterite base, therefore, there is a possibility that there is an intention to build 3 castles on the same base. But, there could be some kind of major events such as wars, epidemics and droughts. As a result, the construction of the castle was halted accordingly.
