ตามรอยอเล็กซ์ซานเดอร์มหาราช (On Alexander the Great’s Footprints) เป็นโครงการที่ต่อยอดมาจากภาพยนตร์ดังเรื่อง Alexander อเล็กซานเดอร์มหาราชชาตินักรบ ที่เคยเข้ามาถ่ายทำบางฉากในจังหวัดอุบลราชธานี โดยหลังจากที่ภาพยนตร์ออกฉายและประสบความสำเร็จในระดับโลก กรมการท่องเที่ยวจึงได้จำลองฉากสำคัญขึ้นมาเพื่อสร้างแหล่งท่องเที่ยวแห่งใหม่ให้แฟนภาพยนตร์และผู้ที่สนใจในประวัติของกษัตริย์อเล็กซานเดอร์มหาราชได้มาตามรอยภาพยนตร์และเรียนรู้ข้อมูลเชิงประวัติศาสตร์ที่น่าสนใจ โดยฉากสำคัญที่จำลองมาเช่น รูปปั้นจำลองฉากการต่อสู้ กระโจมที่ประทับ คลังอาวุธ และยังมีส่วนของอาคารนิทรรศการที่ให้ข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมเกี่ยวกับประวัติศาสตร์ สถานที่ภายในแบ่งออกเป็นกระโจมต่าง ๆ และแสดงนิทรรศการเกี่ยวกับการถ่ายทำภาพยนตร์เรื่อง อเล็กซานเดอร์ ได้แก่ ประวัติความเป็นมาของการสร้างภาพยนตร์ นักแสดงคนไทยที่ได้ร่วมงาน ภาพยนตร์ 4 มิติ แสดงฉากที่ถ่ายทำในประเทศไทย จำลองฉากราชบัลลังก์ ห้องนอน อาวุธยุธโปกรณ์ เครื่องแต่งกาย เป็นต้น นอกจากนั้นแล้ว บริเวณโดยรอบที่เต็มไปด้วยไม้ยืนต้นพันธุ์พื้นเมืองน้อยใหญ่ ก็ได้มีการให้ข้อมูลพันธุ์พืชไว้ให้เป็นแหล่งศึกษาเรียนรู้ด้วยอีกทางหนึ่ง
