ศูนย์ศึกษาวิจัยและพิพิธภัณฑ์ไดโนเสาร์ มีการจัดพื้นที่ดำเนินงานประกอบด้วย ส่วนนิทรรศการและการจัดแสดง ส่วนสำรวจและวิจัย ส่วนอนุรักษ์ ส่วนคลังตัวอย่าง นอกจากนี้ยังมีห้องประชุมขนาด 140 ที่นั่ง โรงอาหาร ร้านค้าสวัสดิการ ร้านขายของที่ระลึก ศูนย์ศึกษาวิจัยและพิพิธภัณฑ์ไดโนเสาร์เป็นแหล่งเรียนรู้ด้านธรณีวิทยา ธรรมชาติวิทยาและซากดึกดำบรรพ์ มีการจัดกิจกรรมร่วมกับสถานศึกษาต่างๆ และการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทยโดยตลอด
