ศิลาดลเชียงใหม่ มรดกภูมิปัญญาแห่งล้านนา ได้รับการขึ้นทะเบียนเป็นสิ่งบ่งชี้ทางภูมิศาสตร์ไทย ผลิตภัณฑ์เครื่องปั้นดินเผาประเภทเนื้อหินทำขึ้นจากเนื้อดินดำหรือดินผสมกับดินดำ ตกแต่งด้วยเคลือบขี้เถ้าธรรมชาติ เผาที่อุณหภูมิสูงในบรรยากาศการสันดาปที่ไม่สมบูรณ์ตามกรรมวิธีที่สืบทอดต่อกันมา เนื้อเคลือบมีรอยรานตัว ของเคลือบมีความใส สีเคลือบอยู่ในกลุ่มสีเขียว เมื่อเคาะมีเสียงกังวาน ผลิตครั้งแรกราว 400 – 500 ปีที่ผ่านมา บริเวณจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เชียงใหม่เซลาดอน ต่อยอดพัฒนาจากโรงงานผลิตเครื่องปั้นดินเผาเคลือบศิลาดลสู่แหล่งเรียนรู้ภูมิปัญญาล้านนา สำหรับทุกเพศ ทุกวัย ได้เข้ามาศึกษาเรียนรู้ ลองทำกิจกรรมที่หลากหลาย ไม่ว่าจะเป็น ห่อข้าวต้มมัด, ปั้นแปะแกะวาดระบายสีชิ้นงาน, สถานที่จัดงานกิจกรรมทั้งงานแต่งงาน หรืองานอีเว้นท์หน่วยงาน

"Chiang Mai Celadon” is a pottery product made of a qualified clay only found in Chiang Mai, the northern of Thailand. Technically, “Chiang Mai Celadon” product is made of a black clay embodied in varied design and decorated with a natural ashes liquid, then burnt at the highest temperature in an atmosphere of an incomplete combustion method which perfectly creates a beautiful crack on each product. On August 31th 2010, “Chiang Mai Celadon” is also registered as the Geographical Indication with the Department of Intellectual Property of Thailand. By this, it means that “Chiang Mai Celadon” enable to indicate the location where the product is made from. More specifically, it must be made only in Chiang Mai area.
