Kasemsarn Hotel is the first hotel in Chanthaburi, a province about 240 kilometers southeast of Bangkok. The Hotel, built in 1961, was recently renovated and is now considered a popular medium-sized boutique hotel (60 rooms), centrally located on Benjamarachutit Road. Thai and western dishes(Tha Luang restaurant) are served with separate coffee corner. Massage service is also available. From the hotel, visitors can walk to shopping areas, jewelry center Tha Luang Corner (a century-old trading area), Buddhist temples and Catholic Church (the largest in the country). By car, visitors can visit King Taksin's historic Fort, the famous Pliew waterfalls, Kung Karbane Development Study Center initiated by H.M. the King Bhumibol Adulyadej and delicious seafood restaurants at Tah Chalaeb.
