ศูนย์วัฒนธรรมแห่งประเทศไทย เป็นสถาบันระดับชาติ ใช้ชื่อภาษาอังกฤษว่า Thailand Cultural Centre เป็นแหล่งกลางการให้การศึกษาแก่สังคม เน้นงานด้านศิลปวัฒนธรรม ผ่านศิลปการแสดง อันมีสถานที่ให้เช่าใช้บริการสำหรับกิจกรรมทางวัฒนธรรมประกอบไปด้วย หอประชุมใหญ่ หอประชุมเล็ก ห้องนิทรรศการหมุนเวียน ลานกลางแจ้งและลานหน้าศาลาไทย โดยพันธกิจสำคัญดังนี้ 1.ด้านการแสดง ถือเป็นพันธกิจที่มีต่อสังคม ที่จะให้ประชาชนได้เห็นความหลากหลายในด้านศิลปะการแสดงจากทั่วทุกมุมโลกและเพื่อให้เป็นศูนย์กลางการอนุรักษ์ สืบทอด และพัฒนาการจัดการแสดงจึงมีลักษณะต่างกัน 2.ด้านการศึกษา ศูนย์วัฒนธรรมแห่งประเทศไทย เป็นแหล่งการเรียนรู้รูปแบบที่หลากหลายจากนิทรรศการถาวร ที่แสดงให้เห็นถึงความเป็นมาของชนชาติไทยและวัฒนธรรมไทยจากนิทรรศการหมุนเวียนที่แสดงศิลปะประเพณี ศิลปะร่วมสมัย และจากห้องสมุดวัฒนธรรม ที่ผู้สนใจสามารถมารับบริการ นอกจากนี้ยังจัดให้มีกิจกรรมทางการแสดงเพื่อประโยชน์ในด้านการศึกษาหลายรูปแบบ 3.ด้านการเผยแพร่และประชาสัมพันธ์ ศูนย์วัฒนธรรมแห่งประเทศไทย มีการเผยแพร่และประชาสัมพันธ์ข้อมูลข่าวสารและกิจกรรมการแสดง ในรูปแบบต่าง ๆ อาทิ การประชาสัมพันธ์ในกลุ่มสมาชิกลูกค้าสัมพันธ์ การแลกเปลี่ยนข่าวสารข้อมูลระหว่างสื่อต่าง ๆ โดยการเข้าถึงสื่อสังคมออนไลน์ ผ่านแฟนเพจเฟสบุ๊ค (Facebook: ศูนย์วัฒนธรรมแห่งประเทศไทยThailand Cultural Centre) และระบบจองสถานที่ออนไลน์ www.tccbooking.net ตลอดจนการผลิตเอกสารและโสตทัศนูปกรณ์เผยแพร่ประชาสัมพันธ์ผ่านหลากหลายช่องทาง เช่น แผ่นพับประชาสัมพันธ์การแสดง และจอโฆษณาประชาสัมพันธ์ ตามจุดต่าง ๆ ภายในบริเวณศูนย์วัฒนธรรมแห่ประเทศไทย 4.ด้านบริการสถานที่และอุปกรณ์ การบริการสถานที่และอุปกรณ์ เป็นการกระตุ้นและสนับสนุนให้ประชาชนและกลุ่มผู้จัดกิจกรรมทั่วไป เข้ามาใช้บริการอาคารและสถานที่ ในอัตราค่าเช่าที่ไม่เป็นการค้ากำไร แต่เพื่อสร้างสรรค์กิจกรรมที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อสาธารณชนและประเทศชาติ ในลักษณะของการจัดการแสดง การจัดสัมมนา การประชุม และการฝึกอบรม ทั้งในระดับชาติและนานาชาติ นอกจากนี้ยังสนับสนุนให้ประชาชนและเยาวชนมาใช้บริการสถานที่อีกด้วย

Thailand Cultural Centre is a national institution serving as a learning centre. emphasize on art and cultural. There are places for rent consisting of main hall,small hall,exhibitions and educational services building,multi-purpose plaza and thai pavilion front yard. It has an important missions 1.The organization of stage performances Thailand Cultural Centre takes it as its mission towards the Thai society to introduce the extensive varieties available of the global performing arts. In order to maintain its roles as one center of preservations, inheritances and developments of performing arts, it organizes in great varieties of stage performances. 2.Education Thailand Cultural Centre is the learning centre through variety of sources, from permanent exhibition on history of Thais and Thai culture to temporary exhibition on traditional and contemporary arts as well as cultural library. Moreover, educational purpose performing activities are organized. 3.The publicity and public relations activities Thailand Cultural Centre is actively carrying out publications of printed materials and PR activities in various patterns. Such activities shall be in the forms of stage performances, seminars, conferences, and trainings in national and international levels. Another public encouragement by the T.C.C is to allow general public including the young people to come in and enjoy the site for their leisurely pleasure, where safety is certainly at maximum rate.
