BANGKOK DESIGN WEEK เทศกาลงานออกแบบที่นำเสนอวิสัยทัศน์และผลงานที่ช่วยเสริมสร้างศักยภาพใหม่ให้กับกรุงเทพฯ BKKDW มุ่งนำเสนองานออกแบบและงานสร้างสรรค์ ที่สะท้อนความคิดและความเป็นไปได้ใหม่ๆ ของกรุงเทพฯ ต่อสถานการณ์ทั้งในปัจจุบันและอนาคต ผ่านงานสร้างสรรค์ตั้งแต่ระดับของงานทดลองไปจนถึงผลงานที่ส่งผลด้านธุรกิจและเพื่อสังคม ที่จัดแสดงในย่านเศรษฐกิจสร้างสรรค์ (Creative Economy Districts) ต่างๆ ที่กลมกลืนไปกับบริบทอันเป็นเสน่ห์ของกรุงเทพฯ พร้อมด้วยการจัดกิจกรรมเพื่อสร้างสีสันและประสบการณ์ที่สนุกสนานและน่าจดจำให้กับชาวเมือง ทั้งยังดึงดูดให้ผู้คนจากทั่วโลกเดินทางมาสัมผัสกับความเคลื่อนไหวล่าสุดของกรุงเทพฯ Showcase & Exhibition การจัดแสดงผลงานและนิทรรศการจากนักสร้างสรรค์และภาคธุรกิจที่นำเสนอแนวทางของการพัฒนาคน ชุมชน ธุรกิจ และเมืองที่ใช้กระบวนการออกแบบ ความคิดสร้างสรรค์และเทคโนโลยีสมัยใหม่เพื่อการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตในหลากหลายแง่มุม Talk & Workshop การบรรยายและเวิร์คช็อปที่จุดประกายความคิด เติมเต็มความรู้ โดยนักคิดนักสร้างสรรค์ทั้งชาวไทยและต่างประเทศ เพื่อถ่ายทอดและแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ที่สร้างผลกระทบเชิงบวกต่อเศรษฐกิจและสังคม Creative District กิจกรรมเพื่อพัฒนาย่านสร้างสรรค์ ที่ส่งเสริมการมีคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดี และขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจสร้างสรรค์ให้กับเมือง ด้วยการจัดทำต้นแบบการพัฒนาพื้นที่ให้เกิดการทดสอบและนำไปสู่การใช้งานจริง และสร้างกลไกการมีส่วนร่วมของคนในพื้นที่และนักสร้างสรรค์จากภายนอกให้ทำงานร่วมกันเพื่อนำไปสู่การลงทุนใหม่ Event & Program กิจกรรมที่เฉลิมฉลองให้กับความสร้างสรรค์ ที่สร้างบรรยากาศและความเคลื่อนไหวให้กับเมืองในหลากรูปแบบ ตั้งแต่ การแสดงดนตรี การฉายภาพยนตร์ ศิลปะการแสดง งานสังสรรค์ รวมถึงการเปิดบ้าน (Open house) Creative Market ตลาดนัดสร้างสรรค์เพื่อสร้างโอกาสในการขายสินค้า การทดลองตลาด การขยายเครือข่ายธุรกิจ และกระตุ้นให้เกิดการต่อยอดและพัฒนาธุรกิจให้นำไปสู่ความสำเร็จทางธุรกิจของผู้ประกอบการหน้าใหม่ของผู้ประกอบการสร้างสรรค์หน้าใหม่

BANGKOK DESIGN WEEK Creative & Design festival aims at sharing visions and achievements that revitalize the potentials of Bangkok Bangkok Design Week propose the prominence of Bangkok’s design and creative works. Through these works, the festival presents ambitious ideas and new possibilities of Bangkok, now and in the future. Celebrated in the creative district, these creative works range from experimental piece to the work with social and business impacts. With fun activities and memorable experiences, the festival is blended beautifully with the charm of Bangkok and attract visitors from across the world to experience Bangkok’s latest happening. Showcase & Exhibition: Showcases and exhibitions by creators and entrepreneurs introducing ideas that incorporate design thinking process, creativity, and technology to develop human asset, communities, businesses, cities, and quality of life in many aspects; Talk & Workshop: Lectures and workshops by Thai and international creative thinkers who share experiences that will create positive impact on the economy and society; Creative District Project: Activities aiming to develop creative districts through full scale prototype testing, developing, and implementation which will promote better quality of life and drive the metropolitan’s creative economy. Participatory mechanism will be the key for local people and creators to work together which eventually leads to new investments; Event & Program: Activities in celebration of creativity ranging from musical performances, movie screenings, and performing art, to parties and open houses that will vibe up the city; Creative Market: Flea market filled with creative products promoting sales opportunities, market trials and business network expansion. This platform will encourage new creative entrepreneurs to develop their business towards success.
